Khodzhi Mukhammada Baba Sammasi Memorial Complex

Khoja Muhammad Boboi Samosi was a major representative of the Khojagan school and the spiritual successor of Khoja Ali Ramitani. Sources link him to the village of Samos in the Romitan district, where his memorial complex is located.

In the traditional biography of Baba Sammasi, a special place is occupied by his connection with the future founder of the Naqshbandi order — Bahauddin Naqshband. According to tradition, while passing through the area where Bahauddin was later born, Sammasi predicted the appearance of an outstanding spiritual figure there.

After Bahauddin's birth, Sammasi became his first spiritual mentor, and later entrusted his upbringing to his student Sayid Amir Kulal. This connection is confirmed by state material dedicated to Bahauddin Naqshband.

Some modern Uzbek sources give the years of his life as 1259–1354.
