Urgut Bazaar
A vibrant bazaar in Urgut known for suzani embroidery, carpets, ceramics and traditional crafts.
About
The Urgut market is for lovers of textiles, hand embroidery and lively bazaar trading: its rows sell suzani, carpets, jewellery, ceramics and household goods. Go on a weekend morning and allow an hour and a half to two hours. Do not confuse it with the new Urgut Savdo Kompleksi shopping centre or with places of the same name in Samarkand itself; check the craft rows’ hours in advance.
