A pass on the Samarkand–Shakhrisabz road, on the border of the Samarkand and Kashkadarya regions. The road climbs in hairpin bends with mountain panoramas, and there are places along the way to pull over for photos. Stop only where it is safe for you and other traffic, in clear weather and daylight. A 20–40 minute stop is enough.
