A cultural and craft centre where you can try your hand both at the cauldron and in the workshop. Cooking classes cover Samarkand plov (the full class takes 2–2.5 hours, the short one about an hour), manti, samsa and Samarkand flatbread (1–1.5 hours each), for groups of five or more. Craft sessions last 40–60 minutes: ceramic and silk-scarf painting, suzani embroidery, Arabic calligraphy and miniature painting, a leather card holder and an introductory blacksmithing lesson — the last two from age 14. All classes are booked in advance; prices on request.
