Samarkand Railway Station

Samarkand Railway Station is the city's main rail hub, located in the southwest part of the city. It handles high-speed Afrosiyob trains connecting to Tashkent (2h10m) and Bukhara (1h30m), as well as regular intercity trains. The modern station has a waiting hall, ticket offices, ATMs, and a small café. The station is about 4 km from the old city center — a taxi ride costs around 12,000-15,000 UZS via Yandex Go.
